Rice County Fair

It was Madelyn's first trip to the Rice County Fair this past week! She slept for a little bit in her stroller, but then woke up and had so much fun looking around! She got to meet some new animals, people watch and sit in a HUGE tractor tire! We sure love exposing her to these new and exciting things! Josh had her in at the doctor today and she weighed 10 1/2 pounds! Growing girl for sure! :0)

Photo Shoot with Mommy!

Hello everyone! We haven't had time to make it anywhere to get Maddie's three month pictures taken, so today we decided that we would try!! They are not the best, but they worked for this time! I was surprised at how well she sat and looked around! Not to many smiles, however, because everytime I tried to get a smile she would look at the camera and wonder what it was! It was funny and cute!! So enjoy the photos!!!

Little firecracker!!

It is crazy that the fourth of July has come and gone! Summer is sure flying by! We had so much fun with our little firecracker this week! We didn't do much, but really enjoyed our time! We were a little unsure if Maddie would like the sound of them, but she just stared and watched as the colors burst into the sky!

On Friday we went with Grandma and Grandpa Nohava to Great Grandma's house in Lonsdale. Maddie watched the Twins game with Gr. Grandma while we enjoyed fireworks outside! On Saturday we met some new family members in New Prague. It was fun to see family and have MJ meet everyone! Afterward we went to dinner with Auntie Nenna and watched fireworks from the back of Daddy's truck in Northfield. It was fun to start a new tradition with the little one this year! Tank came also, but really didn't like the loud noises!

On Sunday we went to Lauren's first birthday party! It was fun to see how big they get at age one, and to think that Madelyn is on her way to 1 already!! We cannot believe how the time has flown by! She is going to sleep in her crib all by herself, loving being with Grandma Nomi at daycare (And Mommy and Daddy love it too becasue she sleeps so much better at home at night! All the kids keep her busy!!) playing with all her friends and cousin! She is reaching for her toys, grabbing onto things, and noticing the TV. (she likes the colors and sounds!) Happy July to everyone! We will be updating soon with anything new! :)

Longville Minnesota Trip

Hello everyone!  Sorry about taking so long with the updates!  I am getting some videos up of our trip up north to Longville!  We stayed on Lake Wabedo...like normal!  Madelyn loved camping! She enjoyed swimming in her ducky pool, taking naps outside under the trees, meeting her cousins Delaney and Macey, going into town, eating ice cream and icees :) , fishing and just hanging out!  She was a great little girl and enjoyed showing off her many cute outfits!  

The clips above are of her trip.  The first one is on the boat! She is talking in it... she wasn't that happy (almost bed time)  but it is still really cute! The other one is of the turtle races! She raced her first turtle with Daddy and all her cousins!   What fun!  I have tons of pictures from our trip and I will post them very soon...either on facebook or here on the blog!  She is a growing baby, just turned 3 months on Friday!  Where has the time gone!!  She is going to daycare on a regular basis now since Josh is in school and Erin is working.  She loves being with Grandma Nomi and all her little kids! She comes home super tired from watching everyone run around and we especially like it because she is sleeping through the night! (Last night from 10:15 until 8:30!!!)  She loves her cereal, playing with Tank and grabbing for toys and Mommy and Auntie's hair!  It is so much fun to see her change!!  I will post more of our growing MJ soon!
