video-2010-04-21-22-19-04

This video is kind of dark, and hard to see but it was so funny! Tank wanted the toy that she put inside of her little princess car. So her would push the seat up with what little bit of a nose he has, and try to get it, but his neck was too short! So while he was trying to get it, she would slam the seat shut and then stand on it. We laughed for hours after. She thought she was pretty cool standing on top of it too!!

Rolling around with Tank

Here are some fun pictures of MJ and her puppy Tank. She thinks it is great when Josh wrestles with Tank, because she wants to also! So the pictures are of her actually JUMPING on top of Tank! He just sits there and lets her do it. He is a great dog!

We went to the doctor since my last post for her 12 month appointment. Here are some of the things we found out!
-MJ is tiny ha! She is only 18 pounds and in the 5th percentile of her weight. Doctor Ripley found that she is getting exactly what she needs, she is just going to be a peanut. AND WE LOVE IT!
-She is in the 80th percentile of her height...ha TALL she is going to be!!
-Bottles have been gone for well over a month now and it is whole milk and water from now on. I couldn't have imagined a smoother transition. I was so surprised!
-She LOVES LOVES LOVES her taggies right now. Her taggie is her blankies that Grandma Nomi made for her. She cuddles them and walks around with them.
-She goes to sleep all by herself in her crib...no tears either!!
-When we were at the doctor and she got her shots she didn't cry at all. We were so surprised. There were a few tears that started, but they never came. Then when they pricked her finger and took quite a bit of blood out she didn't cry either. I think we have a tough cookie on our hands!
-She now can sign "finished" and "milk" she also tells u "NO" when she is done and "Yes" when she wants something.

Our life is so busy right now! I had a friend ask me yesterday how I ever get anything done. My response..."When she sleeps!" I love it though. She makes me smile each time I look at her!

Duluth Trip!

Last weekend we went to Duluth for two nights! We stayed at the Edgewater which has an indoor waterpark. It was so much fun swimming with out little monkey! She had lots of fun walking around on the playground and had fun sitting on our laps on the lazy river. We also took her down to the beach. It was a beautiful Saturday and the sand was warm and the water cold!!! She had fun picking up the sand and playing with it!!! We are definitly going back this summer to stay a few more nights. Check out the pictures below of her new yellow bikini!!! Everyone in the pool kept saying it was the cutest swimsuit!!

Walking the Puppy!

Maddie loves her puppy Tank! Lately we cannot get out the door to take him out without her crying at the door and wanting to come with. She also thinks it is really fun to hold onto the leash. She does good, until he goes too far and then it flies out of her hand! Ha

Happy Easter!

We had lots of fun this Easter! We spent time at Grandma and Grandpa Hall's, Great Grandma Nohava's and Grandma and Grandpa Nohava's! It was a busy day and MJ fell asleep as soon as we got in the car to go home. We had an Easter egg hunt, MJ got to ride on her cousin's 4-wheeler (and she didn't STOP smiling!!) and we ate some pretty yummy food. We hope you and your families had a blessed and happy Easter!

Happy Birthday Madelyn Jo!

Well we celebrated her first birthday! I cannot believe 1 has come and gone! We had a busy, busy weekend and so much fun! I do not know exactly how much she weighs or how tall she is because we haven't been to the doctor yet, but here are some things that are going on in our household right now...
-MJ still LOVES her puppy. She now will walk up to him, give him a hug and a kiss and then make a panting noise because we always ask her what a puppy says!
-She really likes to be outside. My parents have a huge backyard with tons of climbing equipment for the daycare kids so she thinks she is pretty cool when she can go out all by herself on the weekend to play!
-She has a temper when she doesn't get what she wants. Josh and I fight over where she got this from! (I am going to say Daddy!! wink wink!!!)
-No more bottles! MJ has been drinking milk for about two-three weeks now. It was the easiest transition! I am so glad she likes cow milk...WAY CHEAPER!!
-She loves going on wagon and stroller rides.
-Her new dancing move is to tap dance! No more bouncing up and down she moves her feet! Very cute!

Check out the pictures of her first birthday! We had a very fun and busy weekend!
