8 months!

Happy 8 month birthday Maddie Jo! We were talking about how this time last year we were saying "Wow...next year at this time the baby will be 8 months old!" Time has gone by really fast. Madelyn is a fast little bugger! She is everywhere, up stairs, down the hallway, in the bathrooms, you name it and she will get there! She was even crawling over my cousin Maren this year at THanksgiving!! She is enjoying food that we are eating now at dinner. Some of her favorite foods are mashed potatoes, corn, peas, rice, green beans, oranges, mac and cheese, spagetti, and hamburger. (I just make sure things are small!) She does "So BIG" and we are working on waving bye and giving five! She loves to read books, play with her toys and pull on Tank and Toby (Matt's dog!) She stands by things and now is starting to move from one object to another and stand on her own for a few seconds. She copies sounds that we say like Boo, Da, Ma and moo. She enjoys going to church and is usually an angel! We also say she is a little ham most of the time too because she loves to smile at everyone behind her!! Our little monkey is sure growing up! What a fun joy she is!!

Our Little Turkey!

For Thanksgiving this year my sister and I created fun turkey place cards for each member of our family! We decorated them to fit each person! Below are Josh, Maddie Jo and my turkeys!

This year at daycare Maddie Jo made a fun Indian hat! Then together with Mommy she made a turkey hat. So she had fun wearing them at Thanksgiving and the morning after! She didn't even really realize that she had something on her head, until it fell off! Funny Funny stuff! :-0)

Baby LoVeS her bath!

Maddie Jo's favorite place right now is her bathtub! She thinks she is pretty cool that she can sit all by herself, although she doesn't sit for long! She crawls (or tries) lays down and even goes on her tummy! Its a fun sight to see and if you get away dry your pretty lucky!

Where DId Maddie Go?

Friday night Josh and I were standing in the kitchen doing dishes and I asked him to go and check on MJ because she had been standing by the stairs. So he went to check on her and couldn't find her! He looked up the stairs and she decided to climb half way up our stair case! So she has now figured out how to climb! I had showed her the night before how to put her knee up on the stair and how to move her hands up, but I didn't think she would get it in one day!

Not only does she climb up stairs, but she climbs up almost anything that is bigger than her. He new favorite thing to do is climb up, stand on her feet and then let go because she thinks that she will not fall down! Little girl should be walking soon since she is doing this already! No fear I am afraid...no Fear! :0)

She is also copying sounds and does "So Big" sometimes...especially for her Auntie and at daycare with Grandma! If you give her a cell phone and tell her to say "Hi Auntie Nenna" she sometimes goes..."Hhhhiii" It's super cute!

Daycare Halloween Party!

Maddie loves daycare and has so much fun with the kids! I used to help mom with the kids when I was still in high school and it is fun to see Maddie with the kids that mean so much to me too! When I went to pick up Maddie on Friday I stayed and helped for a bit! (we I actually just took pictures while Nenna helped! :0) ) Below are a few of my favorites! Not everyone was there because I got there kind of late, but some of her friends are!!

Great Grandkids!

At Great Grandma Nohava's house some of the other cousins came to play! There were pumpkins, twins players and bunny and a lion!

We were at Great Grandma Nohava's and Kailey was there! Maddie and Kailey go to daycare together and so all night MJ was getting hugs from Kailey! We were able to catch a few on camera! She is such a sweet little girl and we love that Maddie is starting to crawl so soon she will be able to catch up to Kailey and play!

Before Josh went to work at 7 we took a picture together at Grandma Nohava's! Even our little lion was excited it was Halloween night!!!

Costumes!

Being it was Maddie's first year trick-or-treating she was given a few costumes! The flower and giraffe were costumes that she wore to daycare on Friday! Both of them we got on clearance, the giraffe last year at JCpenny and then Auntie Nenna found the flower on Thursday at The Children's Place and decided that Maddie needed it! :0) She wore her Lion costume trick-or-treating on Saturday! We visited all the Grandma and Grandpa's and most of the Great Grandmas! We also visited Great-Great Grandma Dvorak and Uncle Bubba and Auntie Lin Lin and Auntie Nenna! It was a great day! We are so excited for Thanksgiving and Christmas this year! It will be lots of fun to celebrate with our little peanut!
