Always Moving!!!

Hello everyone!

Sorry it has been a while since we have updated our blog! With no internet access at home, it makes it a little bit difficult! We have been enjoying our summer for sure!! Maddie had a blast this last week at her Aunties graduation party! It was such a beautiful day and everyone had fun playing with all the little babies! Madelyn is definitly growing and filling out! She weighs at least ten pounds now and is pretty long! Her newborn dresses fit her perfectly, but are a little short...her legs are so long! She still loves taking baths and we found out that she loves to go swimming! (until she gets cold!) Her bumbo and swing are still some of her favorite "toys" at home and she loves her big brother Tank! She never stops smiling and cooing, when she is awake and not cranky and loves her "taggie" blanket! We made sure that Grandma made us two extra of her favorite blankie, just incase one gets lost! But a busy baby she has been!

We spend out Sunday's watching Daddy play softball! Here are some pictures of her playing with her friend Sonya. They are only a few weeks apart so it is going to be so much fun seeing them grow up together!!

Madelyn 2 month check up!

Madelyn had her 2 month check up and shots yesterday! She did great and Doctor Ripley was very impressed at her progress!! She almost rolled right off the examination table and she said that she wouldn't be surprised if she rolls within the next few weeks!! She now weighs 9 pounds 4 ounces and is 23 inches long! Still a little peanut, but definitly growing! She didn't even cry until her shots were over! Tough little girl!!! Mommy loves her being so small because she still fits in her NB dresses and sleepers, and she sure has a lot!!!

Maddie is smiling, cooing and loving her big brother!! She pulled his hair for the first time last night, and I can see it happening much more in the future!! What a little joy she has been this week! Growing and changing so fast!! She is definitly going to be an "on-the-go" baby, already pushing herself up, looking around, and moving her feet!! The doc said she thinks she will be crawling by 7 months...we will see!!! We will post more pictures soon! Have a beautiful weekend and enjoy the weather!!

What a busy Memorial weekend! Madelyn had a very busy weekend and was sure crabby by the end of it! We enjoyed spending time with family and friends and on Sunday Madelyn was Baptized after 10:00 mass in Lonsdale! It was a perfect day and a beautiful service! Check out the pictures below of her beautiful dress that Grandma Nomi made for her!!! ;0)

6 weeks Old!

Hello friends and family,

We wanted to start this blog so we could tell everyone a little about our sweetheart! Madelyn Jo was born on March 26, 2009 at 8:14 in the evening. She weighed 5 lbs. 6 oz. and was 20 1/2 inches long! We were super excited that everything happened just as it should have and we were excited to finally meet our healthy baby girl.

Now...6 weeks have gone by and we have had so much going on! She is slightly over 8 pounds and growing strong!! Mom started back to work last week and Madelyn is enjoying her time at home with Daddy!! She is started to stay awake more during the day now, but still enjoys keeping us up sometimes at night! She is lifting her head and searching for things when shaking a rattle or toy!

Madelyn has had new friends that have joined her in the world over the last month or so! Her friends Ella and Ethan came only a week after Madelyn was born and her friend Adeline was born just this week! We cannot wait to see them all running around together! We are sure they will all LoVe getting into trouble!! Madelyn loves going on stroller rides and swinging in her swing! We also think she is going to love fashion...because she sure loves her dresses :0)

She loves her big brother Tank, and he sure loves her! He is even getting used to her crying at night and ignores her! The last 6 weeks have been great! We are all adjusting to our new life together!! We are blessed to have such a wonderful little girl!!
