Gymnastics!

Our little peanut started gymnastic's tonight! She is part of the "tumbling tots" team at the Northfield Gymnastic's Club. SHE LOVED IT!! She even cried when we were leaving. We also "braved" it and let her only wear underwear. In the middle of her class she told us that she had to go potty. Many proud moments for Mommy and Daddy tonight. Our little girl has become a completly, no accident, potty trained toddler! **Tear** :)

Big Girl Now!

We are potty trained! MJ started working on using the potty the week before Christmas. (I still can't decide if that week was a good idea or not! Between the 6 Christmas' we attended, using the toliet was one more thing for Mom and Dad to have to deal with. But it it seemed to have worked!) So now she is using the toliet and usually doesn't have accidents. At night we still use diapers, but during the day we are all about the underwear! (Dora ones are her favorite!)

I have had people ask how I did it. We went straight to underwear. The first day we had 3 accidents at my parents house, but then a good afternoon. The next day we tried it again and only had one. I only use pull ups when we are on the "go". (I still do not trust not having a pull up on when we go to Target or in the car.) But she completly knows when she is in a pull up. She usually ends up being wet, but if I would have her in underwear she would be dry. Smart cookie she is! Now we need to work on the "big girl bed" that is sitting in the box in the garage. I think I am more scared about this, than potty training!

I was looking back at my first post and cannot believe I am talking about potty training. My little MJ is growing up way, way too fast!

We had a great New Year and we hope you did too! We hope 2011 is a great year!

My Aunt, Uncle and Cousins were home from The Netherlands. M had fun playing with the girls!!

M went to Grandma and Grandpas while we had some fun with our friends and family! We had some drinks at Applebees then went to our brother and sister-in-laws. Smile, Josh, Kim and Greg!

Internet at home, finally! Now blog updating will be so much easier! We had a wonderful December! Christmas parties, snowmobliling, presents, dresses, candy, cookies, Holidazzle, winter walk, you name it we did it!! Below are a few pictures from our busy December. At Grandma's daycare they always do the Nativity play. Last year MJ was a sheep. This year she was a shepard. I thought she made a pretty cute shepard!

October Fun!

Dora the Explorer is Madelyn's favorite show right now. Anytime she sees her or the map she gets really excited! We went to the store in the mall and found the Map on the wall. She was so so so excited!

Fall Wedding

Our friends Adam and Jenny got married this October and Madelyn was the flower girl! After screaming down the aisle "NO, NO" during rehearsal on Friday night we were a little unsure about what was going to happen the day of the wedding. But she walked down with no problem! We were so proud of our little Maddie Jo!
